BEWARE!

I signed up for the "e-fax" service a bit over a year ago. I canceled it about a year ago. The email address I signed up under hasn't been used in 6 months. Suddenly I was billed $118. I called them, asking nicely that they refund my $118. Because I couldn't provide them with proof of canceling the account (with an email address that hasn't been accessed in 6 months) I was told they couldn't refund my money. The fellow (from India, naturally) was pleasant enough but told me I had to call back on Monday and ask for Level 2 support. In the meantime, I wrote this pleasant missive to their feedback area. As if it will amount to anything. I am so disgusted and my fucking head is throbbing! If it was $18 I could piss it off and call it a lesson. As it is I am sick about it and am calling it a very expensive and unscrupulous lesson. Believe me, I could just fucking cry right about now.
Here's my note to the bastards.
I will be contacting your Level 2 customer support about this, however I am beyond appalled by the fact that this has happened. I was suddenly charged $118 for an account that I have not used in over a year. I could not remember what email address I even signed up under. Turns out it is one that I had not used in about 6 months. So I had no record of when I canceled the account and the agent I spoke to although he canceled the account could not refund the money.
I am sure this is a very fine way to keep yourselves in business. However, I find it unscrupulous. I am far from a millionaire. That $118 is very precious to me. I was, in fact, using it to buy medication, and when the funds were not there to buy my medication, this is how I found out that your company had charged me this obscene amount--for a service I have never used and canceled long ago! Believe me, if my money is not refunded, I will make it well known about your company's unscrupulous practices.

Bastards...bastards...bastards...
